I am a relatively new iPhone user and an Apple convert. After purchasing my iPhone 3G a few months ago, I fell in love with its easy to read screen, easy to type keyboard and the assortment of applications that make this far more than a cell phone.

I'm also a bestselling Canadian author who recently announced via a press release that I am writing a complete novel using the Notes application on my iPhone 3G. My novel--Finding Bliss--has already attracted media attention and I've been excited to talk about it on TV, radio and in newspapers. I already have 2 companies vying to be the first to release the novel once it's completed, which will be later next year.

I am also very excited about a new program that will be launched in 2009, one that I will be contributing material to. This will provide direct reading material to iPhone users. I look forward to maybe chatting with you about it, Walt, once it goes public. :)

First I would like to say I enjoy reading Mr. Mossberg's posts, although I do wish they were more frequent! But he is a busy man.

Another reason I'm commenting is because it seems like Mr. Mossberg does not blog about any product that is not related to Apple. I am by no means loyal to any company (I own an HP desktop and a MacBook), so shouldn't there be more reviews about products outside the realm of Apple?

Finally, what about the new iPod Nanos that are rumored to be released on September 7th? No information on that?
